Since 1901 the prestigious and lucrative Nobel Prize has been awarded in Physics, Chemistry, Medicine, Economics, Literature, and Peace.
This class may focus on an individual awardee and his/her positive impact on society; discuss controversial or puzzling choices; shed light on the selection process or the political context of an award; delve into interviews with prize winners; take you behind the scenes to explore who was not chosen and why, as well as individuals who should receive the award.
The class will offer lenses on our scientific, political and cultural universe as well as people who are making a difference.
