ACTING & THEATER SKILLS
Have you ever wanted to direct, act and even write your own play? Quest offers such opportunities through its compelling Theatre & Cinema course which typically offers three to four plays a semester that are directed and performed by Quest members. Quest also features “TheaterWorks Workshop,” where class members learn a variety of theater skills, such as acting, scriptwriting, and directing. And many current Quest courses — such as Shakespeare and Oral Interpretation of Poetry — encourage members to prepare readings and dramatizations for the class. So even if you haven’t been on a stage since your junior-high production of Oklahoma, rediscover your inner-thespian at Quest. No experience necessary. ![]() Roy Clary as Thomas Jefferson in a 2020 Quest Zoom production of Mr. Jefferson’s Women, an original play by fellow Quest member, Bob Reiss. |
