This discussion group is a place where new developments in science can be explored and where members can bring questions about any scientific issue and all can participate in finding answers.

Our scope is broad — not just the physical and life sciences, but also psychology and cognitive science, medicine, social sciences, and any field of study which relies upon evidence. Ethical, political, and social issues related to science are also discussed.
