Great Conversations offers works by both contemporary and classic authors across many genres and disciplines, ideal for promoting discussion among readers.

GREAT DIRECTORS, PRODUCERS, ACTORS

This course will take an in-depth look at some of the most influential talents of the stage and screen. Class members will be encouraged to provide insights and share personal memories.

GREAT EXPECTATIONS

Great Expectations is Charles Dickens’s beloved novel of a humble orphan boy who rises to the ranks of high society through the patronage of an unknown benefactor.

GREAT PLAYS

Coordinators: Roy Clary, Wayne Cotter, Frieda Lipp

Important American and European plays are presented. Each session begins with a brief biography of the playwright followed by a “staged reading” of the play. The audience is encouraged to share their insights.

HARLEM RENAISSANCE
