This course will examine a variety of musical genres and trends.
Individual classes may focus on one artist or the links between artists spanning generations. Topics could include sessions on famous producers such as George Martin or Phil Spector, songwriting geniuses, rock music’s influence on TV and film, the rock music industry, Prog Rock, or album cover art.
Sessions will primarily focus on rock, folk, country, hip-hop, and the blues
